Cock, why do you crow?
As I was chatting with my friend online, my old uncle approached me saying, "I want to research why the cock crow!" (with a very dominatrix voice). And so I quit chatting and gave him the floor. After a while he got tired and told me, "I couldnt find anything about it". And so the old man retired and went to sleep. For curiosity's sake, I tried searching for answers. Though im not really that keen in knowing the reason behind(since I have already a bit if idea why), I went googling for answers and stumbled upon some vague and not-so-scientific answers. Did I mention that I even posted the question on Yahoo Answers?. Oh well, noone knows why! And since every inch of hope is already faltering and I have also felt my eyes getting tired, for the last time I went to Google and use the keywords which I believe might has something to do with the crowing of the cock and voila! I am right. Cocks tend to crow for the same reason a dog piss on the street on a corner. It is an alpha dog stature. By the means of crowing, cocks tend to express that a message that he(yes "He") is control and is the alpha dog in the area where he stands forth. It explains why they need to really stand on a high plane. Its an indication of superiority while monitoring the area for any possible cock who may challenge him. Cocks, like humans, has biologic clocks which schedules the time of crowing. This biologic clock is programmed based from the how the cock sees darkness and sunrise. Surprisingly, even chickens also want power.
